Overview of digital transformation within organizations — the opportunities it creates and the issues managers face moving into the digital age. IT is not only a tool to improve processes, but also to create and capture customer value and to gain competitive advantage.

After the four core blocks, you should be able to understand, analyze, and critically question an organization’s digital transformation, including frameworks and tools used in practice (with guest lecturers):

  1. Strategy — digital business model patterns, platforms, subscription models
  2. Organizational — towards an agile organization
  3. Technology — “future-proof” infrastructure
  4. Industry — healthcare and automotive cases
